The Science Roadshow was very interactive and engaging for the students. The children got to see a variety of demonstrations involving a wide variety of concepts and materials including; fire, dry ice, chemical reactions, infa-red cameras, microscopes and x-rays (an endoscope even made an appearance!) After the demonstrations, the children then got to participate in an amazing variety of learning experiences stationed around the hall. The enthusiastic chatter and questioning generated by this programme was fantastic to see.
During our 100 day party, the children were involved in a variety of activities including; a scavenger hunt, building '100 structures', 100 art, 100 pic-collages on the iPads and they also got to make paper chains. What a fun day of celebration!
