Maths - Counting in 2s, 5s and 10s

This week in Mathematics we have been practicing skip counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. 

Skip counting is being able to count forwards and backwards in multiples, such as twos, fours, fives, tens etc. Practice in skip counting helps children with the development of fluency in calculation and is the basis for multiplication and division.

Lots of repetition and making it fun are the best ways to reinforce these skills.
